UX design was a path I was drawn to because it fits so well with my curiosity in terms of problem-solving, passion for understanding how people think, and the creativity involved with visual design. My past work experience designing high-level solutions at the Allen Institute, and Microsoft has provided me with a strong foundation in communication and teamwork, and valuable skills in UX design. With my background in political science and informatics, I'm excited to bring my strong understanding of systems, intuitive approaches to problem-solving, and cultural awareness to this field.

I attended the University of Washington where I obtained my Master of Science in Information Management with a specialization in UX. I attended the University of Washington as an undergraduate and received my degree in political science with a minor in informatics. I also ran track and field for the university all four years which pushed me to become a leader, fight through adversity, and compete at one of the highest levels for this sport.

Besides athletics, my other interest includes collecting limited edition sneakers (Off-White Nikes are my favorite), discovering new restaurants in Seattle, and attending musical concerts.
